Dr. Ty Hicks, D.C. is the owner and Chiropractor at Cornerstone Chiropractic of Southwest Missouri, LLC. Our office is dedicated to providing Webb City, Joplin, Carthage, and the four state area an all encompassing approach that goes beyond typical chiropractic care. Dr. Ty has a passion for providing high quality adjustments and soft tissue work through IASTM, cupping, and myofascial release to target all aspects of patient care.

He also utilizes a unique table and technique called flexion-distraction. Sometimes referred to as spinal decompression, this technique is very gentle and can be effective with conditions like lumbar facet syndrome, sciatica, and herniated discs.

He is certified in SFMA and FMS, which are specific screening protocols in evaluating and improving basic biomechanics before advancing to complex movement patterns. This system is used often in the sports and performance world, as athletes are performing complex patterns day in and day out.

We treat patients as young as infants to age 64. From busy little toddlers and their parents, athletes, teachers, business owners, nurses, and all other walks of life. We provide individualized care plans centered around you and your goals.

FAQ’s:

1. Do you accept insurance? No we do not bill your insurance, and we are a self-pay office. Payment can be cash, credit/debit card, or HSA/FSA card.

2. Do you accept Medicaid/Medicare patients? No, we do not see any Medicaid/Medicare patients in the office currently. Unfortunately chiropractors are not able to “opt out” of Medicare/Medicaid/Disability. This means that regardless of patients wanting to self pay for services, the office is still not able to see any patients with Medicare/Medicaid/Disability. There are currently bills to change this law, and once it changes we will then be able to see all patients!
